Hello, Writing Barn community!
Whether you’re a regular listener or have never listened to the Porchlight (you should, but we can’t tell you what to do), we’d like to announce that our founder Bethany’s podcast has been renamed to “Courage to Create.”
This change reflects the shift in focus of the podcast towards the particular trials, tribulations, and joys that come with living a literary life. Creativity is not a competition, and it takes a special kind of courage to throw ourselves headfirst into our crafts, always reminding ourselves that what we have to say is worth saying. The Courage to Create Podcast will still include interviews with writers from various genres as well as agents and publishers in the literary industry.
Also keep an eye out for a new subscription based Courage to Create Community, which will be hosted through our Founder, Bethany Hegedus’ author website and will offer live webinars and lectures with guest authors and industry professionals, various creative exercises and materials, in-depth community support and mentoring, discounts to Writing Barn classes and intensives, author spotlights, weekly encouragment and more!
